And a woman spoke, saying, "Tell us of Pain."

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding.

Much of your pain is self-chosen.

It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self.

Therefore trust the physician, and drink his remedy in silence and tranquillity:

O novo ano não significa que algo acaba, mas que algo novo se inicia, como um pequeno nascimento. As celebrações de ano novo trazem-nos novas energias e mente positiva, que é a essência do ano novo. O ano novo pode transformar-nos em novas pessoas que vivem a vida de uma nova forma. O presente do ano novo é a oportunidade de um completo e novo nascimento.

Para receber a oportunidade de mudança temos de nos comprometer em disciplinarmo-nos. Qualquer que seja a nossa promessa tem de ser combinada com disciplima, se não for assim, facilmente voltamos aos nossos esquemas do passado. Com disciplina, as nossas promessas tornam-se reais. A disciplina pode ajudar-nos e salvar-nos de muitas situações dificeis na nossa vida. Se realmente deseja uma nova vida, precisa de disciplina.
